5 Day Aerial Arts and Yoga Retreat in Milpas Altas, Guatemal

This retreat is ideal for friends traveling together and individuals looking for a different experience. We focus on aerial arts and give the participants a taste of the different apparatuses during their stay. The retreat is designed more with beginners in mind but intermediates are welcome as well. These are physically demanding days but with a lot of fun. We complement the practice of aerial arts with aerial and Hatha Yoga twice a day. Each day will start with yoga and movement classes followed later in the morning with a class of aerial yoga and hammock fitness or dance as a foundation for the other aerial arts introduced during your stay. The afternoons will be intense with 90-minute workshops followed by Hatha yoga with a flexibility focus. We will have workshops with the silks, hoop, and trapeze. If you happen to be the sole participant during your stay you may also choose only one apparatus to focus on for the whole of your stay. Simple but delicious vegetarian meals are supplied twice a day which is part of your retreat package. Our local Cafe serves a variety of foods for lunch at reasonable prices which you sure want to check out.

Home made breakfasts, lunch and dinners are enjoyed together with your hosts. Fresh sourdough breads, home made hummus, fruit or yoghurt and cuisine that varies from Italian to Asian influence. All food is locally sourced and lovingly prepared. The diet is vegetarian but if you require a dairy-free, or nut-free diet we will certainly be able to accommodate you. Please advise in advance if you have any allergies or special food requirements.

The closest airport is Guatemala International Airport, also known as La Aurora Guatemala (GUA) in Antigua, Guatemala. From the airport, it is between 45 min to 2 hours to our location depending on traffic. You can get a taxi or Uber to our location or request a pick up at an additional charge. We offer free car parking so if you wish to rent a car at the airport this may also be an option for you, especially if you intend to travel after the retreat.
