Beginning in Nairobi and continuing into the breathtaking wilderness of the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the journey unfolds across Kenya’s most inspiring landscapes, where the vast savannah provides the perfect setting for grounding, reflection, and renewal. In the Mara, each day begins with sunrise yoga surrounded by the sounds of nature, followed by thrilling game drives, bush breakfasts in the wild, and moments of stillness through journaling, fireside relaxation, and authentic cultural connection with a traditional Maasai community. The retreat flows into the tranquil shores of the Lamu Archipelago, where the slower rhythm of island life invites deep rest and inner calm. Here, meditation, yoga, and peaceful coastal leisure are enriched by immersive cultural experiences in historic Lamu Old Town and soothing sunset dhow sailing across the Indian Ocean. The journey concludes with a full day at the Lamu Yoga Festival, a vibrant celebration of wellness, movement, and community, before a final sunrise practice and return to Nairobi with renewed energy, clarity, and a lasting sense of peace.

Modern cuisine with a hint of Africa. Using fresh organic produce and locally grown vegetables, the cuisine is a modern Kenyan take on popular European dishes. Traditional Swahili cuisine is also available in Lamu. Special meals request can be made.
