Join us for a weekend of rest, relaxation, & deep spiritual connection at Wheel Of Bliss Retreat, guided by Tibetan Buddhist lineage holder Drupon Chongwol-la — the drupon, or ‘retreat master,’ for Lama Glenn Mullin, who studied under 25 of the greatest masters of Tibet, including the Dalai Lama and his two main gurus. At the heart of this retreat is Green Tara, a female Buddha associated with compassion, courage, and protection. Her practice offers a way to go beyond fear, reconnect with inner strength, and meet life’s challenges with a more open and courageous heart.

Itinerary

Immerse yourself in a powerful spiritual journey over three deeply structured days, designed to connect you to an authentic lineage of Tibetan Tantra. Friday, July 31st (Arrival & Sacred Welcome): Your retreat begins at 6:00 PM with an exclusive, intimate Private Dinner with Drupon Chongwol-la inside the beautifully crafted Celestial Hall, establishing intention and community for the weekend. Saturday, August 1st (Empowerment, Practice & Integration): The core of the retreat features an intensive Green Tara Empowerment and deep instructional session from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM within the Celestial Center. Late afternoon (3:45 PM – 5:45 PM) transitions into a physical rejuvenation session utilizing our premium outdoor Forest Sauna paired with a natural mountain Creek Plunge. After a communal dinner from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, the day concludes with a powerful, guided Green Tara Night Practice from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Sunday, August 2nd (Ceremony & Closing): Sunday morning opens from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with an integrated Green Tara Practice. This is followed immediately by a traditional, transformative outdoor Fire Puja Ceremony from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The weekend concludes with a final celebratory group lunch and closing circles at 1:00 PM

What's included

This all-inclusive weekend package is carefully curated to support your spiritual practice without distraction. Authentic Lineage Transmission: Complete access to all empowerments, teachings, and guided practices led directly by traditional lineage holder Drupon Chongwol-la. On-Site Mountain Lodging: Comfortable overnight accommodations tucked away inside a secluded mountain sanctuary deep in the Blue Ridge. All Organic Meals: Nourishing, community-style meals including dinners, lunches, and refreshments throughout the entire program. Wellness & Ceremonial Facilities: Scheduled access to the outdoor barrel Forest Sauna, natural mountain creek plunge areas, and the traditional Fire Puja ceremonial grounds.

To help you plan your journey effectively, please note that the following are not covered in the retreat cost. Travel & Transportation: Airfare, car rentals, or ground shuttle transfers to and from the retreat venue. Personal Travel Insurance: Optional medical or trip cancellation insurance coverage. Extra Discretionary Donations: Optional personal offerings or monetary gifts traditionally presented to the teacher/sangha at the end of the teachings.

Food & meals

All meals are fully included for our full-weekend guests. Meals are hosted community-style in the warm, deeply inviting, and wood-paneled atmosphere of Celestial Hall. Gathered around large tables. Guests share wholesome, nourishing food together, offering a wonderful space to cultivate meaningful connections and reflect upon the teachings with your fellow retreat participants.
