Exploring Kathmandu Nepal’s vibrant capital is rich in history, spirituality, and culture. Highlights include: Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple): A sacred Buddhist site offering panoramic views of the city. Pashupatinath Temple: A UNESCO World Heritage Site dedicated to Lord Shiva, where Hindu rituals and cremation ceremonies take place. Boudhanath Stupa: One of the largest stupas in the world, a serene and spiritual hub for Buddhist pilgrims. Trekking in the Himalayas (4-5 days) Embark on a breathtaking trek through Nepal’s stunning landscapes, passing through: Ghorepani & Poon Hill (3,000m/10,000ft): Witness panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, with peaks like Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South. Here’s an example of typical vegetarian meals in Nepal for a retreat, offering two meals a day: Breakfast: Tibetan Bread with Butter and Jam – A soft, doughy bread served with butter or jam, often accompanied by masala tea. Aloo Paratha – A flatbread stuffed with spiced mashed potatoes, typically served with yogurt or pickles. Muesli with Fresh Fruits and Yogurt – A healthy start to the day with oats, dried fruits, nuts, and fresh yogurt.
